Work Experience

The points based on work experience are calculated only for the last 10 years before applying for the PR visa.

  • If you have worked for 3 to 4 years outside Australia, you can obtain 5 points
  • If you have worked for 5 to 7 years outside Australia, you can obtain 10 points
  • If you have worked for 8 to 10 years outside Australia, you can obtain 15 points

  • If you obtained a Superior or an IELTS 8, you could obtain 20 points
  • If you obtained a Proficient or an IELTS 7, you could obtain 10 points
